AREA: 26 Km
BUDGET: 9,500 M € (total cost)
The engineering contract for a 26 km high-frequency rail system in Dublin will be developed in five stages over the next ten years. The project is adapted to social needs through consultations with the community and stakeholders.
The design of tunnels, viaducts, stations, rail systems, and other elements will be carried out using BIM Level 2 across all disciplines. It will connect north and south Dublin, with 25 stations and underground, elevated, and at-grade sections.
ACTIVITIES
ACTIVITIES
- We established BIM standards following PAS 1192-2:2013, within AECOsim and MicroStation applications, to meet client requirements and ensure quality and consistency in model delivery.
- We applied the Generative Components tool to accelerate tunnel modeling, adjusting the model to alignment modifications provided by the design team, optimizing time and accuracy in the process.
- We produced viaduct models with AECOsim, generating drawings from the created models, ensuring consistency between design and final documentation.
- We generated a parametrized typical section for the quick and efficient adaptation of the viaduct to changes provided by the client, improving delivery times and ensuring an agile response to new project requirements.
